By joining the CFBNA of Orlando, you become a part of a group of black nurses who advocate & develop strategies community by improving the quality of life for minorities consumers by providing community health services. This is accomplished by investigating, defining and implementing change in the minority community by utilizing our professional skills to motivate consumers to make healthy lifestyle choices. 

As a member of the Central Florida Black Nurses Association, you are entitled to all the benefits of the National Black Nurses Association (newsletters, discounted conference rates, etc.) as well as: 

  • You are provided with one to two FREE CEU classes per year.
  • Networking with nurses in various specialties.
  • Mentoring opportunities for new nurses and students.
  • Mini public speaking, leadership and economic development sessions (coming soon).

Through our 79 chapters, we provide countless hours of community-based health care services and outreach to African American communities across our Nation.

        The National Black Nurses Association provides leadership to advance nursing practice, improve health care for all Americans, particularly the unserved and underserved and shape health policy for the access and delivery of health care services. We are actively engaged in the many issues currently challenging the profession of nursing. There is no better time than now that African American nurses need to work together in their professional association to not only survive, but to prosper in this time of change in the reform of our health care system.

Who can join CFBNA of Orlando? 

Anyone interested in focusing the efforts on the topics and issues minority nurses face daily is welcome to join. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization. 

How to Join:
